legitimate acrophobia

Do you remember when I was whining about being afraid of heights in the Statue of Liberty? Apparently that’s small potatoes. If you really want to induce some vertigo, just look at this picture:

That’s the 103rd floor of the Empire State Building. The general public isn’t allowed out there (for obvious reasons), but press was allowed to visit the other day, and Gothamist posted that and other pictures. The view is amazing, but I can’t imagine being the photographer brave enough to get those photos!
