Book Review: One Hundred Years of Solitude

One Hundred Years of SolitudeOne Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As I was reading this, I couldn’t help but think of my fiction instructor, who recently counseled a classmate against giving a number of characters names starting with the same letter. I wonder how he would react to a multitude of characters bearing the same name!

Although sometimes this book confused and frustrated me, I really enjoyed it. I think Gabriel Garcia Marquez is a beautiful writer, and this book in particular was enchanting.
